Fairy Fables catatlog cheats and new postcards!

Here are the cheats:

Click the stereo for a silver wand! The wand is not even silver, it's blue! :P

Also, CP added a Fairy Fable story book.

From what I remembered, they didn't have this. I don't know, I wasn't really paying attention to the play!

Hello Penguins!

Last week we asked about your favorite play at the Stage:

My favorite play is The Penguins That Time Forgot. I love the special FX and the costumes. And the script is really good too. And last I like acting in the play with my buddies and having fun! I hope if it returns everyone has as much fun as I did. Waddle On!

Thanks, Odnan. Next Friday's Better Igloos catalog might take you back in time too - I hear there are lots of cave items! Speaking of igloo items, we'd love to hear what you think the ultimate furniture item would be!

You Decide!

Hello Penguins!

It's a New Year and in a few months a brand new Penguin Play Awards Show is gonna turn the island into an event to remember. Just like last year, you'll be voting on 5 plays in 5 different categories. But we need to know which plays you want to vote on!

Stage Update!

Hello Penguins!

It's almost time to switch it up at the Stage with the return of Fairy Fables! If you haven't acted or directed for this play yet, make sure you check it out. Last year it won the Penguin Play Award for Best Costumes!

Speaking of the Penguin Play Awards, keep your eyes open for a vote that'll be coming to the blog soon. You'll be able to help decide which plays will be competing for the awards in 2010!

Screenhog on how to play Card-Jitsu Fire

Here, Screenhog tells the rules to the game. I guess that all lot of people(including me!) were having trouble with the game. It was hard to understand at first, since they had no rules to play when you're getting started with the game. So, if you still don't understand how to play, here it is:

Lots of you are already Card-Jitsu Fire experts! But I wanted to give you some game info in case you haven't had a chance to play the new game in the Fire Dojo yet:


General Stuff:

* There are practice mats for 2, 3, and 4 players. You can play with friends there.
* If you talk to Sensei, and you pick the "Earn your Fire Suit" option, he'll set up a match. You get more experience points if you do this.
* You can enter new offline trading card codes and you'll get cards added to your online deck. You won't see the animations in the Card-Jitsu Fire game but you can see them if you're playing the original Card-Jitsu game.


How to Play:

* On your turn, select the stone which determines the spaces you move, choose your tile (you have 2 options), and then you'll pick your card to determine the outcome of the round.
* If you land on one of these, - choose a card. The highest number wins. If you don't have the element, you cannot win that round.
* If you end up with this symbol, or if you land on the same space as an opponent, you're going to have a Card-Jitsu battle - the elements determine the winner (water beats fire, etc. as in the original Card-Jitsu).
* If you end up on this symbol, you get to choose which of the 3 elements you'd like to play!
* If you're playing and someone quits, you get the experience points. If you quit, you don't get any points.


With all this exciting fire stuff, don't forget the important element of snow... The Great Snow Maze and snowy sport celebrations start Friday at the Ski Village.

How to get to the new play room

It's pretty complex to get to the new secret room at the play. Trust me, I think this is a little diffulclut for little kids. Follow the steps precisely!

1.) You have to stand on the little x with 3 other people. One of the people has to have a insect costume!!


2.) Then, you should see an opening near the water pot. Go inside. You don't have to be a member to get in. You have to have a member with you to go in!
3.) Go inside, you should see another x. Find 3 people to stand on the x (this includes you!)

4.) You should see the treasure chest open with the new pin!
